Haiti, recognized as one of the world's poorest countries, with more than 50% of its population living in poverty and over one million orphaned children, is a country that requires urgent assistance. The True Shepherd Foundation recognizes this need and aims to help by focusing on addressing the high unemployment rate, which stands at 60% of the population.

The Foundation's approach involves offering skills training that seeks to alleviate extreme poverty in Haiti by creating self-sustaining micro-enterprises. This is achieved by equipping participants with new skills that enable them to generate income through small businesses. To ensure the success of this approach, skilled instructors will be assigned to teach critical skills necessary for improving the country's economic situation. Participants who demonstrate entrepreneurial aptitude will receive mentorship to help them establish their own small businesses.
